Dear Bethune Staff, Families and Greater Community,

I am deeply humbled and honored to introduce myself as your new principal. It is with great enthusiasm that I join this community, dedicated to fostering an enriching and nurturing environment for our youngest students.

With more than 20 years of experience in education, I am committed to ensuring that every Bethune scholar receives the highest quality education in a safe and supportive setting. I believe in the power of collaboration between educators, parents, and the community to create a dynamic and successful learning experience.

I know that Bethune has a proud tradition of loving and educating its students. My son was a 2010 graduate, so I know firsthand what a caring and dedicated staff we have. It is my goal to observe and listen so that we can continue to promote academic excellence, social-emotional growth, and the development of lifelong learners. We will continue to build on the Gary Community School Corporation’s strong foundation by embracing innovative teaching methods, fostering a culture of respect and inclusivity, and providing opportunities for students to explore and learn in fun and exciting ways.

I look forward to meeting members of the staff and students’ families very soon and working together to support our little scholars in achieving their full potential.
