(Gary, IND) – In a vibrant show of support for Breast Cancer Awareness Month, the Gary Community School Corporation hosted a successful “Pink Out” Dress Down event organized by Student Services. Staff and students across the district donned their most creative pink attire to raise awareness for breast cancer.
“The overwhelming support and participation from our staff and community stakeholders demonstrate the importance of standing together in the fight against breast cancer,” said Dr. Yvonne Stokes, Superintendent of Gary Community School Corporation. “We are grateful to everyone who contributed and particiated in a series of well-orchestrated events.”
