NOTICE OF MEETING TO BE CONDUCTED BY THE DISTRESSED UNIT APPEAL BOARD

Notice is hereby given that on Monday, June 17, 2024 at 5:00 pm Central Daylight Time,
the Distressed Unit Appeal Board (“DUAB”) will conduct a public hearing to consider a
petition to terminate Gary Community School Corporation’s status as a distressed
political subdivision.
The meeting will be held in-person at the Gary Area Career Center (1800 E 35th Ave,
Gary, IN 46409). The meeting will also be streamed live via the school corporation’s
Facebook page:

The meeting is being conducted pursuant to the Open Door Law (IC 5-14-1.5).
