3 Things to Know Now That the Referendum Passed

 

Thanks to community support, GCSC students and teachers will benefit from increased support for the next eight years. Here are a few important things for you to know now that the referendum has passed:

 

1. GCSC will start to receive referendum funding in June 2021.

 

2. By law, funds raised by the referendum are required to go to the purposes listed in the ballot language, including:

– Balancing the budget

– Teacher and instructional staff compensation

– Arts, athletics, and extracurricular activities

– Safety and student supports

 

3. More information about the Referendum Ambassadors will be available in January. The timeline is outlined below:
